Recurring payments

The practice of BIN-file usage for card intelligence becomes extremely relevant in recurring billing context. The whole recurring billing industry is built on the principle of charging given amounts from given accounts at regular periods of time. If a card, used for recurring payments, is too expensive to process, or if it is a pre-paid or gift card, which gets depleted after several pay-as-you go payments, there is no point for a merchant to process it. Using the information from BIN file, a merchant can detect the cards which are not worth processing (due to their type, high processing costs, or other reasons), once their numbers are input into the system. Beside that, based on BIN file information, a merchant can analyze common decline reasons.
