PSP

At the modern market migration from one processor to another may represent a challenge for a payment service provider (PSP) or payment facilitator. Previously the only aspect which had to be addressed during switching to a new processor was the good old authorization and settlement. Nowadays, beside moving all the merchants (existing MIDs) from one processor to another, there are several more aspects to be taken care of. These aspects include merchant on-boarding functionality, batch processing, account updater mechanism, updating of BIN-files, chargeback handling, reconciliation procedures, and all the necessary certifications.

More information on migrations to a new processor is available in the respective article on #Paylosophy.
